History of the invention of electricity :
People have known electricity since ancient times, but they have harnessed their power to serve them for about 250 years. Benjamin Franklin's experiments of electricity, including his famous experience in 1752, showed the extent of human knowledge of electrolysis in the era of the American Revolution and the First Industrial Revolution. Electricity and develop them in different ways and constantly commensurate with the public life and requirements.
The first advances in electricity came in 1831, when the British scientist Michael Faraday discovered the basic principles of electricity generation, based on the experiments of Franklin and others. He noted that the current could be created or stimulated by moving the magnet into copper wire coils. Electromagnetic has revolutionized the way in which energy is exploited, as the Faraday method is used in modern energy production, and power plants today produce much stronger and much wider currents than the hand-held Faraday device.
Definition and measurement of electricity :
Electricity is the phenomenon arising from the existence of electrical charges, where the basic unit of the charge on the proton or electron, and the charge of the proton positive while the charge of the electron negative, and there are three basic units used to measure the electrical quantities, and most commonly is Ampere (English: , The measurement unit currently used, the coulomb, the charge unit, the volt, the electric force measurement unit, and the ohm, the unit of resistance measurement.
Electrical Inventions :
600 BC - 1599: Humans discovered the magnetic stone as well as the attractions of the amber, where the then developed societies, especially Chinese and Europeans, exploited the properties of magnets in compasses. 1600-1699: The pioneering work of celebrities, such as William Gilbert, who took the first real scientific approach to the study of gravity, magnetism and electricity, wrote extensively on his findings.
1700-1749: Scientists continued their experiments on the basics of magnetism and electricity thanks to tools such as static electricity machines,Leyden jar
1750-1774: Benjamin Franklin studied electricity, with his experience in the famous kite and other achievements in science, and inspired his English friend Joseph Priestley to do the same.
1775 - 1799: Significant progress has been made in understanding what electricity is better , Where a sophisticated theory of magnetic energy in biological objects emerged.
This theory paved the way for useful inventions in the field of electricity. 1800 - 1819: Alessandro Volta invented the first battery; it was discovered that electricity could be generated through chemical processes; In this period as well.
