This is about my last year visit to nearest hill station from Mumbai.
The Nearest Railway station is Igatputi which is 45 km away.
For Stay - 1) MTDC is very economical 2) Yash Resort and 3) Anandvan Resort (Very expensive)
The season to visit - July month to February month ( In short Rainy and Winter)
Few very attractive points are -
- Amruteswar Temple ( more than 2000 year old)
- Reverse Water Fall
- Kalsubai Peak for Tracking lovers (Also there is shortcut for Harishchandra Garh fort)
- Umbrella Water Fall on Winlson Dam which is on Aurther Lake.
- Beautiful Ghatghar Dam and Lake
- Sandhan Valley Trek
- Miles and Miles of Jungle / Forest for Jungle lovers
