If you have never explored the White Mountains of New Hampshire, it is seriously a must. The foliage of the trails is starting to turn to beautiful shades of red and orange. My most recent hike was the Welch and Dickey loop, and it was certainly not just a walk in the park. If you are prepared for a 4 mile loop of a root littered path, tall rock stairs, and a hard to grip path of just solid rock the view will make it worth it.
I could not have thought of a better way to spend my Sunday and the fact that this trail is also hiked by many people with dogs made the trip even better.
