Visiting Pulo Aceh, take the time to explore Willem Toren III Lighthouse located at the end of Pulo Breuh (Pulau Rice).

From the top of this tower can enjoy the beauty of the panorama of the most western tip of Indonesia. Willem Toren, located behind the Gampong Meulingge forest, Pulo Aceh, Aceh Besar District, is a tower of the Dutch Government built in 1875. This lighthouse adopted the name of King Luxemburg at that time, Willem Alexander Paul Frederik Lodewijk (King Willem III)) .

The 85-meter-high circular tower is said to be only three in the world. In addition to Pulo Aceh, similar towers exist in the Netherlands and the Caribbean Islands. But in the Netherlands has functioned as a museum, while the other two are still active.

The trip to Willem Toren Pulo Aceh is quite challenging. The main route to get there from the front of SD Negeri Meulingge.

There is a piece of road that cuts the forest to the tower. The road began to narrow the bush closed, full of climbs also derivatives. Sprinkled with holes used in puddles and stones.

When our team travels to Pulo Breuh, the weather is sunny, making it possible to board a motorcycle to the tip of the island where the tower stands. The distance is less than an hour.

Over and over again our bike fell into the mud hole and tripped over the rock. It needs extra concentration especially when in the derivative, because one-on-one can slide into the abyss. "The downfall must be one of the teeth," said Husaini, the local boy who guided us.

The exhausting journey finally paid off with the natural beauty of the Willem Toren complex. After passing through the gate, there are several Dutch heritage buildings that are being rehabilitated.

At the end of the tower stands a towering towering red and white tower with a thickness of concrete walls up to one meter. This is Willem Toren.

Once we got permission from the officers there, we immediately stepped on hundreds of stairs to the top of the tower. On the wall there are several windows that are coated with thick glass.

Tired of climbing the stairs instantly disappeared while at the top of the tower. Beautiful scenery is presented from behind a glass room in which a gigantic floodlight can be turned.

These lights will light up at night, light up the light into the Indian Ocean's international jetty and the entrance to the Strait of Malacca. Its function as a regulator of sea traffic is often crossed by large ships.

"These lights are coded out to sea," said Erlando, a navigational officer and guardian of Willem Toren Pulo Aceh.

Outside the glass room there is a round terrace around an iron fence, the coolest place to enjoy a soothing sea breeze, and a panoramic view of Pulo Aceh.

The turquoise sea appears to stretch out to the horizon, glowing with the sun. Small islands like floating in the Indian Ocean. Looking down there is a tree-covered ground that leads to the sea. The waves rolled up with the corals issuing white foam.

Overlooking the north we see Weh Island, Sabang extends blue across the ocean, above which white clouds shriek. From a distance also seen Rondo, the outer islands in Indonesia are without residents but guarded the Navy and marine navigation officers.

Staring to the southern side presented a stretch of green hills that jutted into the sea. White foam is shrieking beautifully on the rocks at the foot of the land. The clear, sloping water at the periphery gives rise to a mixture of toska and greenery from white sand and submerged corals.

In the eastern part of the building looks some Dutch heritage extends, then green hills and the tip of the land that jutted the sea. It's an exotic scene.
