Hey! Have Ya Met...? wishes everyone to have the best and safest days for the holiday season no matter who you are, where on this flying rock you live, or what you believe in.

It has been our pleasure and we have been most fortunate to be able to present newbees to the Hive blockchain for 3 years now, and it feels like something has been accomplished and to be proud of.

@brittandjosie and I at @heyhaveyamet, alongside of our sister project, @theterminal, where @thekittygirl and we hang out, with @wesphilbin and @stayten and sometimes @drakernoise have been working to introduce and to guide new Hiveans to the communities where they will thrive and become prolific advisers and solid community members. When that happens, we rejoice as that is what we set out to do. It brings great satisfaction.

Our Schedule for the Next Two Weeks

So, with that said, we want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, and safe travels in where ever you go. We are taking a short break and will be back on Monday, December 27th, and will probably do the same thing next week, we will go off Thursday December 30, 2021 and come back on January 3, 2022.
Thank you so much for joining @brittandjosie and @jamerussell in this endeavor. We wanted to do our part in helping new people get their introductions noticed. We understand how they must be feeling because we have been exactly where they are. @brittandjosie was very frustrated because she knew she had a very good quality post with little reaction while other "trending" introductions were a poor quality photo and little verbiage. She was so discouraged and heartbroken; this should not happen to anyone. Therefore, we are on the lookout for these people and will do our best to bring them to your attention.

Whether one has been on the blockchain for three days or three years, there are always questions! @theterminal, founded in December 2018, is a project that answers questions people have about the workings and etiquette of participating on the Hive blockchain. We answer questions about use of the Discord app, as well. A few users of Hive's 'legacy blockchain' have also sought assistance. Everyone is welcome.

The sister-project to TheTerminal is @heyhaveyamet (HHYM), founded in October 2018 and still going strong. The goal of HHYM is to look through the #introduceyourself posts of those new to the blockchain and welcome the new arrivals and gather links to their introductory posts in a daily curation post. New accounts are carefully checked for effort, plagiarism, and account-farming before being featured.

      So @brittandjosie that discord will be a good place to ask questions about which communities would be best to join? I think Onhave talked to @kittygirl on the @dreemsteem discord, so have made progress on getting on discord. I am not sure what other rooms are there that would he beneficial for me to join. Learning more about communities would be great. I am slowly engaging with more groups. The problem is that I can't seem to comment and post in all of them.

      Hello there! Wes here, hoping on to say hello! It's not really what rooms (channels) we have at @theterminal that makes us "what we are". It's the fact that we've been helping share knowledge and information about Discord, the Blockchain, and many other things, since 2018. Many out there do the same nowadays... and it's not a competition mind you!
