Hopefully Hextra picks up steam now Bitconnect lending phase is over..

The change to a "fixed" pricing schedule didn't really help Hextra, as it never got over 7USD naturally.
It's supposed to go to 15USD later this week, but i'm not sure if demand is high enough to warrant that. Especially since BTC lost half it's value in 3 weeks and ALL coins are down. Forcing it to run against the stream, might not be the best way..

There is hope for the platform though: withdrawals are getting through, only it takes 4+ days to confirm into your wallet. This is because the Hextra Dev's skim from the withdrawal fee: they take a high fee and only pay out the lowest possible fee to your wallet. Instead of a 60m confirm it's now a 96h waiting game. With the current value and fluctuations of BTC it's a risky game.. If you withdrew on Saturday/Sunday and it arrived today, it would have lost already 20% or so of it's value. Depending on the amount, the fee would take even more out..

For now, it's hoping that they fix the exchange soon.. I am still debating to stop buying HXT and keep USD for now, as there is no way to sell back to USD at the moment.

At least the HXG and HXT lending works now and paying out.. I'm still missing those 8 days when they were in maintenance.. But at least they are paying the remaining 22 days for HXG..

Unfortunately, even after 3 weeks of mailing to support@hextracoin.co and messaging to their FB message and their FB page, my account is still missing 47.70USD that's stuck. I will keep trying, but don't really expect a fix. Based on FB and BCT, they aren't actually fixing any individual accounts anymore. Only the system in general.

While the HXT price dove below the 5USD floor set by Hextra (due too the lower BTC value), Hextra could gain a lot of new investors by jumping in the hole left by Bitconnect who without warning stopped all loans suddenly.

As HXT is now between 5-15USD, it's a good moment to step in and grow into what BCC was.

Especially if they start offering things promised in the roadmap/whitepaper for December/January.
The external exchange would be a little too late at this point i think, especially as they want to control the prices s bit.

But the external wallet, mining (+pools) and dedicated Android/iOS app would for instance be very welcome..

Hopefully by the time Hextra releases the HXG loans on January 31st, we have a much healthier platform!
