They say there’s no “I” in “Team.”
However, they fail to notice is that there is an “A” and a “T”. There is also an “M” and an “E.”
So whenever you have “at,” just remember you also have “me.”
When it comes to working as a team, the general goal is to build up something for the common good. It is a common misconception that this means setting aside ourselves for the sake of working together, but when that happens, we’re losing major parts of what makes us important to each other.
The fact of the matter is, in order to get anything new out of a closed system, you have to add new energy to it. Considering how entropy works, we’re also slowly losing energy to begin with.
Our own ideas, wants, needs, and values have to matter, too. When observed effectively, these details reward and reinforce individual thinking. This is essential for critical thinking and problem solving skills.
We want there to be a brighter future than what we can see from here. Making an honest effort to look out for each other’s individual dreams is just as important as making the effort towards a common goal.
We hope that someone will look out for ours as much as we want to look out for theirs.
Thank you so very much for saying that! Really needed to hear it!
You are quite welcome!
I have a lot of shit I need to talk about re: Many Mistakes Mages Make, keep checking back every once and a while and there will be more!
