Today, I am excited to describe features and answer a few questions you may have about our esteemed partner project, the HELIOS Token. The HELIOS Token is a dynamic platform that incorporates three impactful token burning modules:

• BURN-To-VOTE
• BURN-To-DOWNVOTE
• BURN-To-ACCOUNT_CREATE

Additionally, the project integrates an innovative "artificial price feed," which was discussed in detail in a previous article. In this article, I aim to provide a comprehensive overview of the HELIOS Token project and its unique offerings.

Variable APR (Upto 20%)

At the inception of the HELIOS project, we implemented a Static (fixed) Annual Percentage Rate (APR) of 20%. However, with our latest updates to the script, we have introduced a Dynamic (variable) APR, which has the potential to reach up to 20%. This change has helped to stabilize the daily token minting rate.
To further enhance the value of the token, we have implemented the HELIOS Price Feeder mechanism, which artificially caps the token's price. This artificial price cap can be surpassed during market uptrends. By allowing market forces to dictate the token minting rate and demand, we believe that the HELIOS Token will continue to thrive.
For your reference, please find attached two charts that highlight the HELIOS Token's minting rate over the past 50 days, as well as the effect of the artificial price cap on token creation.

As evident from the chart, the impact of the HELIOS Price Feeder (price cap) on the token minting rate over the past 50 days is clearly discernible.

Minting Rate

The implementation of a weekly price feed mechanism has had a significant impact on the token minting rate, leading to a decrease in the rate of token creation each week. This may result in the process of minting HELIOS tokens becoming more difficult than mining for BitCoin in the future. However, it should be noted that while BitCoin does not offer a mechanism for reducing its circulating supply, the HELIOS token has a daily burn mechanism that contributes to reducing the overall supply of tokens in circulation.

Burn-To-Vote

As a valuable contributor who is not listed on the Spaminator Blacklist, you have the opportunity to earn a substantial 30% profit by using the HELIOS.SURF to burn HELIOS tokens on your posts. This action will result in a valuable upvote from @helios.voter, which distributes votes based on a prioritized list. To increase your chances of being shortlisted in the voting queue, consider delegating more than 250 HP to the project (@helios.voter). The user interface for this feature is user-friendly and fully integrated with the Hive-Keychain extension.

Burn-To-Flag

As part of our ongoing efforts to combat spam, we have introduced the option to burn HELIOS tokens in exchange for powerful downvotes. Each day, we are able to distribute three full mana (100%) downvotes. However, it is important to note that members of the Spaminator Blacklist are not eligible to use this feature. If you wish to try this feature, we invite you to use our FLAG.HELIOS.SURF. You can see the user interface in the image below, which is fully integrated with the Hive-Keychain extension.

Burn-To-Create Account

The creation of a new Hive blockchain account can now be achieved at a more affordable cost, through our recent development of the Burn-To-Create Account feature. Instead of requiring a substantial amount of Resource Credits (RCs), one only needs to burn 0.75 Hive worth of HELIOS tokens to create a new account. The process is secure, with encrypted memo messages and key downloads available through the user-friendly interface, ACC.HELIOS.SURF, which is fully integrated with the Hive-Keychain extension. As a core developer of the script, I can assure you that we do not save any keys or memos. We keep only transaction IDs for the purpose of avoiding refund issues.
