As we wrap up the year, we have an important update regarding our HIVEPOWER high-APR delegation program and what to expect as we move into 2026.
The Final Payout
The final reward distribution for this program will be processed on Wednesday, December 31, 2025. This will mark the conclusion of the HIVE payout initiative; there will be no further HIVE-based delegation payments in the new year.
A "Holiday Special" Program & The Economic Reality
We originally launched this program as a holiday special because we wanted to share our stockpile of extra HIVEPOWER with the community during the festive season. However, this period has coincided with significant economic headwinds, specifically the prolonged decline in the price of HIVE.
This downward market pressure, combined with the technical shifts in the ecosystem, meant that we saw the "writing on the wall" early on. Following the last Hard Fork, curation rewards became significantly more compressed, making high-APR HIVE payouts mathematically difficult to maintain in the long run. Despite these clear challenges, we chose to run this special test pilot program through the end of December because we wanted to honor our commitment and support our delegators through the holidays.
Moving Forward: HELIOS Rewards Continue
While the HIVE payouts are concluding, we have some good news. We will continue our HELIOS rewards program for all HIVEPOWER delegators to @helios.voter. The only change taking place is that the HIVE liquid payments will cease; the HELIOS token distribution remains active and unaffected.

If you were delegating specifically for the HIVE liquid rewards, please remember to adjust your HP delegations after the final payout on December 31.
We are incredibly grateful to those who participated in this special event. Your support allowed us to experiment with these rewards, and we hope the extra HIVE helped you reach your goals this year. Why didn't you tell this thing while I asked few days back?
There was also no mention of Hive Delegation rewards being temporary in any of your previous payout posts. You were positively encouraging people to delegate to your high APR program.
Very scammy behaviour indeed.
I still encourage users to delegate, we still pay delegators the 20% APR in HELIOS tokens broken down into a daily payout. Combined we were giving over 35% with the holiday boost and that is frankly too much. I reserve the right to start and end any delegation promotion as I see fit.
You will still receive the full share for your delegation on Wednesday, I see you upped your delegation 2 days ago, that will count towards the next payout too.
