My church senior pastor has also mentioned about the rich meaning of Hebrew language that English can never fully illustrate it. It has always been mentioned that many history of the bible are valuable lessons as well as the significance of different minor details just like having having the door painted in red where death will pass. It is like the blood of Jesus that was shed for our forgiveness of sin. I have heard about passover in Church many times.
