20 Essential Albums for the Heavy Metal

For those who like or want to know the genre , I made a list of 20 albums essences that everyone should hear.

20 - "Lateralus" - Tool (2001)
19 - "Images and Words" - Dream Theater (1992)
18 - "Blackwater Park" - Opeth (2001)
17 - “Powerslave” - Iron Maiden (1984)
16 - "Bonded by Blood" - Exodus (1985)

12 - "Heaven and Hell" - Black Sabbath (1980)

07 - "Screaming for Vengeance" - Judas Priest (1982)

Can't really argue with that list. I don't think there needs to be two of Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Metallica, and Megadeth though. Replace those 4 with new bands (perhaps Machine Head and Anthrax) Actually I can't think of any more so yeah I'd replace Iron Maiden and Sabbath with an album from Machine Head - "Davidian" and one from Anthrax - "Among the Living".)

Thanks, I ended up putting two albums of each, because they are so good albums that did not know what should occupy the top 10 kkkkkkk , but agree that machine head has fantastic albums . Just as Evile , Overkill , Annihilator...

Slayer? My eye of the tiger is raining blood. Slayer did a lot of good shit (3 songs average per album except Seasons in the abyss which was a masterpiece)
