Chips
Chips are my most favourite way of eating a spud! but knowing they are that little bit healthy makes it all the better.
If you're new to Slimming world, to keep this short and sweet, you can basically cook anything in '1 Cal' cooking spray. You do not need to use cooking oil for anything once you have used and experienced the joys of '1 Cal'.
Below is a simple step by step of how to get the perfect Slimming world Chips
Ingredients
- Large Potatoes
- 1 Cal cooking spray
Start with a medium sized pan filled with water on boil
Whilst that is boiling, select the largest potatoes of the pack ready for peeling.
Once the potatoes are completely peeled, slice them long ways, and then again into thin(ish) fingers.
Once slices, add them to the boiling water and blast boil them for no longer than 5 minutes, at this point, turn your oven on 200 degrees
After 5 minutes, drain the finger sliced potatoes and place them back into the pan. Once the drained potatoes are back into the pan, spray the spuds (at the same time as shaking them) until they are all covered.
Now lay them separately on a pre-sprayed (1 Cal) oven tray. Place in the over for 25-30 or golden brown.
And this is my end result, this is how I like them. Just with a little crisp nothing too extream.
These oven chips are Syn free, so eat as many as you like without feeling guilty
