I fully agree yaniecyag! An excellent way to reconsider some things and the way we perceive illness and society as a whole. Sure, it may not be easy for the rest of us, "healthy people," but patience and kindness don't cost us a thing, no? Furthermore, we may end up suffer from similar conditions one day. Will we want to be treated like soulless bodies then? I don't think so!

It's a good thing that there are many kind and soulful people in Japan.
I do hope that attitude will spread across the world because if it's inevitable for us to develop the disease, we might as well feel at ease knowing that somebody would support us heartwarmingly and soulfully.
