People always say that fish are healthy. Yes, of course. We have to have them in our diet, but it's important where they come from. Fishes are great source of omega-3 acids and other important microelements, but unfortunately they contain also mercury really often. We must be carefull.

You can get omega 3 and omega 6 from plants as well. I take a supplement each day called Body Bio oil. It is rich in both but make from safflower and sunflowers.
If you read my post on Lambs Quarter you would find that lambs quarter is VERY RICH in both omeg3 and omega6 fatty acids!

This is a valuable point. The oceans have been poisoned, and humans may expose themselves to toxic levels of mercury by consuming seafood. There are usually safer sources for the nutrients found in seafood.
