Just eating enough protein in any form should be enough. You don't specifically need to eat collagen - your body is quite able to produce it and indeed any collagen you eat will be broken down to its constituent elements (amino acids) before you absorb it anyway. This is about protecting against oxidative stress directly within the skin which is different.

Well it's not about getting away lol. If it is an easy way for you to get protein then great but consuming collagen is not going to get that collagen directly to your skin.
