A British company has released the first images of its forthcoming smart condom. It’s called the i.Con Smart Condom, but it’s not a condom at all. Think of it more like a fitness tracker for your… well, you know. I.Con owners would wrap the device around the base of the penis after their condom of choice is already in place. According to the company, the high-tech device then measures calories burned, number of thrusts, speed of thrusts, and velocity of thrusts. You get the picture, right? If it’s thrust-related, the i.Con will track it. I.Con users will be able to anonymously compare their performance with others around the globe, or even conspicuously share their stats with friends and family via social media. (Hi, Mom!) British Condoms will start taking pre-orders in December, and the i.Con is slated to hit the U.K. market in early 2018.
