Thank you for your post. I think a general rule on ow much water you drink is never accurate. I warmer climates you need to drink more than in colder climates. Actually the body has a very sophisticated mechanism to regulated your fluids intake. If your intake is too low the first center in your brain will act and tell you to drink more. I you have drank too much, the body will expel the excess amount of water via the kidneys. In healthy people I do not think any advise should be given, other than to listen to your own body. Only in specific patients (with congestive heart failure, kidney failure of kidney stones) a specific advise is necessary.
