It takes a little getting used to but cooking to avoid blood sugar spikes is mainly a matter of rethinking things through. Like having lots of nice snacking things in the house like nuts and a variety of cheeses and cream.... Since diagnosis I\ve never eating such tasty food

Nuts, cheese, yes. Oreos, ice cream, no. I personally come for a family of sugar-holics. I'm both the lightest and most physically active one AND the only diabetic. But there's more to like than Oreos.
