Hello steemians!

I made this video to show you how clinical samples brought from the operation room/theater are reviewed and examined in a gross room, a section of the pathology.IMG_20180515_231031_528.jpg

Pathology is a section in an hospital where modern medical diagnosis and medical research, concerned mainly with the causal study of diseases, whether caused by pathogens or non-infectious physiological disorder is conducted.

However, there is a significant section of a pathology called a Gross room. It is an area where pathology specimens from the operating rooms are transferred for pathological review and analysis.

In this mini- theatre room, dissection of clinical specimens is done for microscopic or histological analysis. This may involve autopsy; openings of vessels, ducts and various other structures.

I am sure we will all learn from the video.

Thank you for watching
