Should We Really Be Giving Our Children Vaccines?

in #health8 years ago (edited)

We all know by know, Pharmaceutical company's are in the business of making money and not curing diseases.

Pharmaceutical company's do not attempt to fix the source of disease. They attempt to cure symptoms of a disease.

When you are sick in any fashion and physically feel ill. That is your body signaling to you that something is wrong. When you go to the store and take a bottle of magic. That magic makes the signals go away. Then you gain the illusion that you are now cured. Of course, only to have the symptoms (the signals) return stronger.

Good for the drug companies. Because with stronger symptoms, comes stronger drugs. And the money keeps flowing.

In order to fix the source of disease, you must make a change in yourself. What would happen if the drug companies helped to find and cure the source of disease? Less doctor visits and less drugs to sell.

Here are some facts recently uncovered by science about vaccines...

  •  All Vaccines are packed with dangerous chemicals and metals. Some include MSG, anitfreeze, and formaldehyde. Would you ever even let your children ingest even a drop of this stuff?

  • New research out of the Department of Public Health Science at Penn State states there is a strong association between children receiving vaccinations and then immediate development of brain-related autoimmune and inflammatory disorders. Causing ADHD, OCD, anxiety, depression, and bipolar diseases.

  •  Recently the UK does not even require a chicken pox vaccine due to the fact its now shown to trigger shingles. That is directly associated with the current shingles epidemic in the world.

  • You can always get vaccinated. But how can you get unvaccinated? A child'd immune system does not fully even develop until adolescence. What about the several vaccines in just the past decade that have been delisted due to severe harmful effects. The Lyme Disease vaccine and Rotavirus vaccine were so bad that they are to bring on disease much worse than the original disease itself.

There are much better proven for centuries ways to boost a child's immune system found naturally on the Earth. More and more studies are coming each month on how dangerous this stuff is.

Sort:

First of all I want to express my respect for writing about such a controversial topic. But as an aspiring doctor I just have to say some words. There are some vaccines we really should not be arguing about. For example the Polio-vaccine: In The 1950s more than 50,000 children in the US alone suffered from this often times severe illness --> thanks to the vaccine Polio got completely erased in many western countries. Or lets take Measles. Or Rabies (depending on where you travel). Or Pertussis.

I agree that whe should not blindly vaccinate whatever the phara industrie throws at us (f.e. I would not vaccinate against the influenza every year if I wouldn't work in the hospital).
But arguing about some of the vaccines is like arguing about the internet helped to connect the world.
Feel encouraged to look up real medical studies about vaccines before giving them to any of your kids - But please do at least that. And don't just listen to some rumours from forums with no data behind it.

In this graphic you can see that polio already was in a downward position BEFORE the vaccines were introduced, so your arguments are pretty much void. Measles...um, when I was a kid: almost everyone I knew had had it. Guess what: no one died. Pertussis: same thing, and only truly dangerous to babies who can't come up to cough or people with low immunity. My eldest was vaccinated fully and injured by it. My other three never had a needle and are perfectly healthy.

If you post such a graphic would you mind to putting the source there as well? I only found your picture on a presentation which clearly advices the vaccination: https://www.emaze.com/@ATZRZOZT/Polio-Presentation

And polio was not in any kind of a longterm downward position. There was just a big epidemic in the early 1950s. And as you may have (or more likely not) seen:
"Note: 1937-1949 may include non-paralytic polio cases. 1950-1953 includes non-paralytic polio cases"

Do you know what that means? The high area and the following drop (which in your eyes makes my statement void) may very likely just be due to different measurement and counting methods and does say absolutely nothing about any longterm chances in polio cases.

The only thing you really can say when looking at your picture is that within five years the vaccination nearly eradicated polio worldwide. And it did. 46 reported cases worldwide in 2016. 20 of them in Pakistan - one of the countries with the lowest rate of vaccinated people. Coincidence?

Measles: I knew a man who got 97years despite smoking 20+ cigarettes a day - therefore cigarettes are not healthy? This argument is about as good as yours on measles.

Pertussis: Yes, Pertussis may not be as dangerous for older children or adults as it is for infants. But those people still can carry it on to infants. And its not exactly fun for older children as well.

the source was vaccines.procon.org and in their paper they state the CDC as their source. And you're right: pertussis wouldn't be fun for older children. Funny enough, I have a great example for that. My eldest daughter had what I thought was a really bad cold, but I didn't think anything of it since we were all snifling a bit during the fall here in Ireland. I have my own remedies that work really well (for anything really) so that would clear it up quick enough. But when it consisted and her cough really sounded crazy, I decided to see the doctor with her. Turns out: Pertussis. The funny thing is that she was THE ONLY one of my 4 children who was fully vaccinated, the other three (my youngest 6 months at the time and fully breastfed) never got it....While it is very contagious. Later (much later) we found out there had been a couple of cases of pertussis in my daughters school, all in vaccinated children! So that kind of struck the argument of herd immunisation out of the water as well as no argument for people to blame such illnesses and the spreading of it on un-vaccinated people. When it comes to measles: I've had a discussion with someone who used to volunteer in a country in Central America, I believe it was Guatemala. He said that before he was there a huge number of children (and adults) died from measles and that since the vaccinations in the area it declined. he wasn't even talking about the 60's or 70's but just around the last turn of the century. It was one of the poorest areas in the country. But when I asked him what those people's diet was like he responded:: mainly beans and rice! Now I am NOT a doctor, however I am pretty sure that a healthy diet and a varied diet also helps build immunity and helps prevent disease. And since the people he worked with were charity workers helping those people with medical issues, food and education, they were also introduced to better hygiene and helped with growing crops for food at the same time of the vaccinations. So looking at that: can we really with 100% probability say that it was the vaccinations and not the other factors as well that contributed to the decline in that particular area? I don't think we can. The same should be applied to other areas in the world I think, but the statistics are put together by the people who have nothing to gain by a decline, but EVERYTHING by pushing drugs. Plus your argument about the 97 year old smoker doesn't really compare to mine about the measles. At the time, I was living in a big city. In my city there was a measles outbreak and not just there. Out of all cases that year, only 2 ended up in hospitalisation, no deaths. And the people who were hospitalised already had a low immunity. However, if you'd take your argument about the 97 year old smoker, and look around his area, then you'll probably find that others would have smoker related illnesses. So sorry, no argument there really. Comparing ONE old smoker to an outbreak of measles is not what I expect from a doctor to be honest. From experience (with my vaccine injured child) I can tell you that health professionals will lie to get people to vaccinate their children and push drugs onto them. When my eldest son was 4, I brought him to the doctor because I suspected a chest infection. The first thing the doctor asked was the status of his vaccines (the thing was: she already knew, it was in our files). I told her what she already knew, that he was not vaccinated for anything. She then ordered me to wait for the nurse so the nurse could 'inform' me about vaccines. I am from Holland so quite well informed, but out of courtesy I let them do their thing. The nurse spoke to me about vaccinations and told me what my son would need to be up to date she'd call me with details. When she did I told her that I'd consider giving him three out of the six (6 in 1 = Diphtheria, Tetanus, acellular Pertussis, inactivated polio, Haemoplilus influenzae b and Hepatitis B vaccine) but she insisted they could not be split up. She also said that pertussis is 'not nice' for older children either, just like you. But neither is the flu, or cold, we just get through it and with that build immunity. She then continued to press on about the MMR vaccines. I told her that I didn't consider giving those at all and gave her my reasons. Because she tried to win the arguments she then said: but there has recently been an outbreak in Galway and Cork. So when I asked her which illness? She said: Measles, mumps and rubella. I told her: So you're trying to tell me that two cities more than 2 hours apart but not the towns in between had an outbreak of ALL three diseases? That to me sounds like the outbreaks happened BECAUSE of vaccinations doesn't it? She HUNG up on me! That same doctor at the same office actually prescribed antibiotics for my sons chest infection and stated: He needs antibiotics because he won't get rid of it otherwise....I dumped the prescription, gave him garlic, lemon and ginger and went back in 3 days later for confirmation. She checked him and said: wow, the antibiotics worked fast, he's clear. I changed doctors after that and when my new doctor asked about vaccines, I told her the same about maybe giving my son the three out of six but that they couldn't be split. THIS doctor replied: Sure they can, you could only give one if you wanted....Note: I just reread your text and see you're not a doctor yet. I also wanted to let you know it's not you I'm arguing with, but the lesser professionals in the area. I really hope you do well in your studies and hope you keep an open mind. Whatever area of medicine you're planning on going into: I hope you'll be one of those that are not just drug pushers. You said you want to help make the world a better place, I believe you and I hope you do. Most doctors completely forget this when they finish med school.

Can you give me the link to your source please? And can you please go into detail if you accidently did not read about the different measurement methods or if you just think they were not worth mentioning.

  • "Now I am NOT a doctor, however I am pretty sure that a healthy diet and a varied diet also helps build immunity and helps prevent disease. Of course we can not. And of course a proper diet and a hygenie a worth a lot. Probably worth way more than vaccines alone. But does this say that vaccines are not a really powerful tool as well?

Sadly I do not have the time to go in depth with your story at the moment. However I will make a detailed post about my view on vaccines in the near future. I honestly ask you to stay tuned (you can follow if you want; I also will post the link under this text when it is ready) with me and then read the whole text without to many prejudices.

@ your note: I am not here to have personal arguments or fights with anybody. I respect your point of view as I hope you will mine. I think in the end we want the same thing - a better world.
And I am aware that there are many doctors who prior their own wallet over the patients wellbeing. I am sure as hell not planning to be one of them. If I would just be aiming to get rich I would not study medicine. Actually I already hat the chance of getting rich and turned it down cause money did not fulfill me. For more details please read my introduction post!

Have a nice day :)

Clearly vaccines have done no good at all and people lived better and died of LESS communicable diseases in the generations prior to vaccination.

eye roll

Good on you for writing about topic. I've written about it also. It's great to see articles like yours and it's great that more people are waking up to corruption in Big Pharma. Your post has helped to shine another light on it. Well done!

This is a controversial topic and I think you did a good job explaining what is going on. I wouldn't give my children any vaccines, the risk is too high and I don't believe they are needed, in fact. I find that the healthiest people I meet have never been vaccinated.

Great stuff! I write about this kind of thing too. My daughter was vaccine injured, so it's very close to home. I've seen first hand what it can do. I keep telling people these things, whether they want to hear it or not. Keep up the good work!

I'm sorry to hear about your daughter experiencing a vaccine injury. For someone like me who has little knowledge in the area but has recently become interested in learning more, would you share a bit about your daughter's experience? I understand if that's personal, but if you are open to sharing the story I would love to hear.

@kateniss I actually wrote a post about it recently, so if you look under my name you'll find it. @nppl77 I usually don't advertise my own posts on other people's, but I hope you understand :)

Thanks for pointing me towards your post! I have enjoyed learning more from the posts you each shared!

Thank-you for speaking out about this important topic.
I try to inform people too.

very interesting stuff

Breastfeeding a child till at least 6 months is the best thing for their immunity. And under that age, no child should have to get any vaccines, if any at all.

There is no downvote on Steem is there? I would downvote if I could. I appreciate that you are just sharing what you believe, which is normally fine. Normally I am perfectly capable of ignoring things I disagree with.

But in this case this particular belief is both untrue, and very harmful.

Pharmaceutical companies do not deliberately refuse to cure illnesses and keep you sick on purpose. This is easily disproven since there are MANY pharmaceutical products on the market that do, in fact, cure various illnesses and conditions.

There are not, in point of actual fact, better wholesome all natural ways to boost your child's immune system that work better than vaccines. It took vaccines to eliminate polio. It took vaccines to eliminate smallpox. It took vaccines to make measles a rare occurrence rather than a common plague responsible for the deaths of many many children. The traditional natural means people had been using for generations before vaccines DID NOT WORK, why do you think so many people died of these illnesses that are hardly a blip on our concern radar these days?

You are free to believe what you want, but I can't help but speak up when your beliefs will harm other people. I feel a responsibility to at least post and make this information clear to anyone who might be reading these comments.

Vaccines are a vital part of our health infrastructure and have saved untold millions of lives in the last century.

Pharmaceutical companies are big business, yes, and they do some shady shit sometimes, yes....but they do also create cures that do work and have saved many many many people.

So if it cures illnesses (which it doesn't because vaccines are given preventative) then how do you explain that so many still get that illness even if they are fully vaccinated? Like my daughter with pertussis? When an outbreak occurs like the one at Harvard in the last year when all but one student that got mumps was actually fully vaccinated, they come back with the excuse that probably those people are exposed to too much of the virus to be completely safe from infection. So how then, do you explain that the students who weren't vaccinated didn't get it, all but one? If vaccines protect, then why were the vaccinated ones not protected? There is even now a suggestion that college campuses are breeding grounds for infections, which is probably true, but they mention that someone should get a third shot to be safe! As a result, students get scared and run to the nearest doctor's office to get their shots...It happens and it always has. Thing is, what they scare them with is the possible bad complications the disease can give, especially men, but what they don't tell you is that the chance that one of those complications occur is lower than the chance to vaccine injury. I'm sorry, I respect everyone's beliefs, but I'm someone who used to get paid to help cover up these things and write exactly the stuff I mentioned above, I know exactly how these companies and their helpers the government and media work. Now, since we've established that vaccines don't cure anything, I'd like to hear you give me one medication that has actually CURED anything. Medicines are developed to treat symptoms, and mask the cause, not to cure the cause. The paracetamol you take for a headache, doesn't 'cure' your headache, it takes away the symptoms...The most important thing for the prevention of any disease is a good immunity. So first and foremost it is important for a child to be breastfed for at least six months. There are no ifs ands or buts about that. Vaccinations happen at a too young age and there are too many. So even if someone wants to vaccinate their kids, then it is not hard to see that so many at such a young age can never be a good thing. Anyone could figure that out really, but it's still approved and it's still administered my health professionals who TOOK AN OATH not to do damage to someone willingly. But they are. And if you truly believe that these companies are in any way in the business for helping others rather than themselves, then you have no idea what kind of business they are in. There are numerous whistle-blowers in the medical industry that say this. 30 or more holistic/alternative practitioners/ doctors got killed, most of them were actually CURING people. But that must just all be lies then? The thing is: the world of pharma, GMO's, banking etc. etc. they are all connected and are all in it only for themselves. Never to help people. And the reason why you believe that their vaccines actually saved as many lives as they imply, without taking into account that other factors like hygiene and nutrition were hardly ever accounted for in those reports, is because that's what they want you to do. I am curious: what's your stance on fluoride in the water supply?

Almost nothing in the 600 or so words you've written there is true or accurate. It would take my 25000 words just to explain how and why all of that is wrong, and I simply and not prepared to do that, especially since numerous people far more qualified than myself already have.

I am not here to convince you.

Dear Readers: please know that what this person has said is not true, it is dangerous and reckless advice based on poor information. Please make your assessment of vaccination after reading information from a reputable source.

So please tell me about your qualifications. I'd love to hear this. Besides this: what do you know about me really? You seem too young to be a doctor, but of course I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure you know nothing about me either.

I know nothing about you. I'm not criticizing you, you are probably a fine person. I am criticizing these beliefs.

Kudos to this reaction to @misslasvegas. That kind of thinking is dangerous. I just watched John Oliver talk about how the Somali population in Minnesota had more cases of measles to date than the entire US had last year because of their reluctance to vaccinate.

But of course that doesn't matter to an anti-vaxer. They come along and say "Well, when I was a kid everyone had measles and things were just fine." oi. insert eye roll here.

same here :) But the other way around of course...The thing is, if I had a dollar for every time someone slaps qualifications at others without knowing anything about the other and then changes their tone when asked about them, I'd be sitting in the Bahama's sipping cocktails.

In regards to you addressing the readers of this post: I'm pretty sure they are well capable to make their own mind up in this matter without you telling them this with or without your credentials.

My daughter has autism and I believe it was from her shots. I also believe she contracted lyme disease as a baby and her immune system was suppressed when she had them. One size does not fit all and I think there should be a lot more research into the safety of combining vaccines and how to prevent giving them to people with immune issues that may react to them. Why can't they do this? After alternative treatment we have seen dramatic improvements, closed minds on this issue will not help those kids affected.

I really think there's a direct correlation between autism and vaccinations.

There is absolutely. Over the past 10 years I've spoken to a huge number of people who told me their child eyes rolled to the back of their head or had seizures or both right after vaccination or shortly after. It increases every year almost. They were ALL told it was a coincidence and their child already had it in them. Lots of damn coincidences. So many going from perfectly happy babies to severely autistic, yeah happens all the time of course....Funny how it didn't happen that much before more vaccines were introduced and children now get so much crap at once, at such young age, it's unreal.

I just want to add, what you've described was exactly how these parents described their experiences post vaccination!

Thinking is not a valid strategy to find out what is truth in health sciences and what not. The original study that proposed a link between autism and vaccination was a hoax!
http://edition.cnn.com/2011/HEALTH/01/05/autism.vaccines/index.html

honestly, there are things beyond just study. If you had met these parents and hear their stories you'd understand. Certain things you get it just by feeling and emotion....just like law doesn't always stand behind the righteous...law is just a law ...not a fact..it could be skewed to benefit the rich and powerful.

Being anti-vaccination is an interesting way to let natural selection run its course.

The problem with this is, however, that there only need to be a sufficient proportion of vaccine-deniers (10-15% of the population at risk) for the principle of herd-immunity to fail. Herd-immunity requires about 85-95% of the populaton to be immune/vaccinated to/against the commutable disease at question to prevent the disease from spreading (just by lowering the chances tremendously to find a susceptible individual). Thus, it protects the remaining part of the population that, for medical reasons (age, immune deficiency disorders) cannot be vaccinated. With a growing number of anti-vaccine movement members, diseases like measles or polio could have a quick comeback and affect members of our societies that could never have utilized vaccination in the first place. Promoting anti-vaccination is irresponsible and dangerous. Smallpox has been eradicated by vaccination completely by the WHO. Polio could have been eradicated a decade ago if not for superstitious country governments and individuals denying mass vaccination.

Totally agree. The anti-vaccination movement is toxic.

It's funny that you say that, because most people who are either not vaccinating or more spread out over time and/or not all vaccinations think exactly the same, but the other way around. I'm in Ireland where people run to the doctors for a sneeze and where some prescribe antibiotics five times a year to one person, but of course that's fine, because he is the doctor and has that person's best interest at heart. And I have to trust that same doctor fully when he wants to inject a newborn with 6 different vaccines all in one. Surely even people who are still completely brainwashed could figure out that practice like that can not be good practice?

What evidence would you need to see that would make you change your opinion? I agree that big pharma is bad. I agree that too many antibiotics are bad for the immune system. But believing vaccines are causing harm is toxic and the spread of misinformation can potentially harm you and those around you. If there's no evidence that would convince you otherwise, it's not worth discussing.

My very close friend was the one who had five antibiotics prescriptions from the same doctor in one year. When she then got strep throat, she almost died because they couldn't do anything for her. Yet, there was nothing done by any authority to question the doctors conduct. I don't need any evidence to know what I'm saying is right. I used to get PAID to help cover up lies and deceit by the pharma. Sorry, but if they wouldn't harm anyone, there would be no reason to cover up anything don't you think? I am also the parent of a vaccine injured child but of course, for people like you all those stories would just be coincidences, but they're not. I hope you'll never have to deal with any of that, because I wouldn't wish it on anyone and our case was by far not as bad as some. There are many, many whistleblowers in the field of pharma and the medical world too. And when you say that you don't believe that vaccines can and will harm, you're actually telling me that those HUGE amounts of vaccinations entering a newborn baby's bloodstream (sometimes 6 or 8 at the time) are actually a good thing? Even without a medical degree people could figure out that that can never be ok. Believing what I believe is toxic, but bombarding a young infant with that many vaccines all at once when the child never had the chance to build its natural immunity is not? Maybe you should read that again...Or better even: Read the INSERTS of all vaccines and tell me again that they can't harm. If you would have, you wouldn't say that! Actually, it is mandatory for parents to receive the inserts of the vaccine before they're administered. Now if you know only ONE person who's actually received one without asking, that'll be huge. Because they usually don't give them to people, I wonder why... Look, I'm not here to convince anyone. If people want to vaccinate their family, that's up to them and the other way around. But I'm sure that even when they choose to vaccinate, they'd still want to be informed properly of all pros and cons, read the insert and maybe have the vaccines spread out more instead of all in one go. You have to agree that would be better than what it is now?

I don't need any evidence to know what I'm saying is right.

Great. Thank you for your time then.

Just a question: have you read any of the inserts? And of course, if you really have evidence as you described, I'd be more than happy to read it.

I have read the inserts and risks. Here's a good FAQ from the CDC which I'm confident you will dismiss.

Yes, working with our own immune system is the way to resolve these issues - not through external devices. I recently covered on Steemit how the courts are gradually moving to recognise vaccine injury more and to make it easier to gain compensation for such cases: https://steemit.com/news/@ura-soul/eu-court-vaccines-can-be-held-responsible-for-causing-serious-illness-even-when-full-proof-is-not-available

I have many years of research media on this topic to share and will very soon be posting about it on Steemit - providing a wealth of information for anyone wanting to learn what the mainstream likes to deny. Follow me here for more info as I post i, thanks.
