Smoothies. Green smoothies.
Let me tell you, these things have allowed me to eat veggies without tasting the veggies.
Now, if you love the taste of raw spinach, then go you, you're awesome, but that is just not me. So instead, I whip up a green smoothie that completely masks the flavor of vegetables!
My favorite recipe
- 1 cup spinach
- 1 banana
- 4 pitted dates
- 1 cup frozen pineapple
- 1 orange
- 1 Tbsp chia seeds
- 3 cups water
Toss all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth!
Enjoy!
This nutritious, sweet smoothie is such a treat! Its green color is the only thing that gives away how much it's packed with spinach 😉

Cheers Never, living on an island I don't have too much access to shops but apart from the chai seeds I can lay my hand on everything there.....I even have some frozen spinach that I needed to do something with. So maybe not quite as fresh as your version but I will give it a go. Cheers J
