Yes, she has that as part of her diet.. but with Cachexia...nausea is a huge problem. So we have had to resort to a nausea suppressant but I am so glad to see that you have all this knowledge.. it is very positive if more and more people learn about nutrition and what to do and how to cope in tough situations like these..

If I were in this situation, I would avoid all carbs in my diet entirely including fruit and root vegetables. At this point, even the smallest amount of carbs is not good. I would try to get into full ketosis. Even the slightest amount of carbs is enough to pull you out of it.
If not diagnosed with cancer, it is of course good to eat fruit and vegatables. The best idea is to go through cycles of on and off ketosis as a measure to prevent the development of cancer and also has many benefits to do this.
Check this out, this guy is really good:
Wish I knew all this stuff years ago.
Thanks! I am going to look into it more in the morning!! I appreciate all the efforts you are going to
I'm no stranger to having a loved one go through this . There are just too many good people going through this including what family members go through. If I had only known the truth, I would have put my foot down to not stop at fast food when we were going to get treatments even at the hospital itself downstairs. It is crazy that doctors won't even mention this stuff. Guess they can't say much because it isn't 'approved' by the regulatory organizations and they would lose their jobs. I always wonder what would be different if they were treating their own loved ones.
Hang in there, never give up.
very true hey
