Totally agree, people need to eat more of a plant based diet and less garbage. The only issue I see along with people who are strictly vegan and eat no meats is that most of them don't even realize they are deficient in B vitamins and a few others. I'm not saying people need to overdose on meat, because most folks over-do it, however balance is everything in life, and YES people absolutely need to start eating more of the foods (i.e plant based foods) that God put on this earth for us to eat. This reminded me of a great documentary "Forks Over Knives" I HIGHLY recommend to everyone here - touches on the same premise! great post, and thanks for this!
