“People will try and change you so that THEY are more comfortable”

As I am walking in the middle of my university campus, I’ve got a lot of eyes on me right now. The thing is, I don’t care, it’s none of my concern, that’s the mentality I have and that’s the mentality you should have as well.

People will not and I emphasise this point greatly, will not care about a total stranger. That’s what you are to them. A stranger who is just walking by, majority will only give you a glance and move on, because put yourself in their shoes and how many people do you care about when you are walking past? None. At the end of the day, you won’t even remember 25% of them.

If you are wearing clothes YOU think are right for you, but don’t think others will approve, who are you doing this for? Your doing this for yourself, not to make other people happy. If people are genuine, then they will accept you no matter how you look, because looks can change but personality will never change.

If you think you have a bad personality, you are so in the wrong. No one in this world has a bad personality, they only have a bad relationship with themselves. Look inside of you and highlight your strengths (Things that make you happy). These are your highlights, don’t shy away from them just because people told you they don’t like that you do this. Because your friends can change to.

Everyone is living their own life and in their own pace, what you need to do is, LIVE YOU'RE OWN. Firstly you need to focus on upgrading yourself and that means finding your own self confidence and accepting that you are you, people will try and change you that so they’re more comfortable around you, but why make yourself uncomfortable in the process. This world is harsh and cruel and unless you are an amazing multi tasker, take care of yourself first.
