Did you decide to choose aerobic exercises from "A" List? Or did you prefer the good alternatives which are here in "B" List?

Again, to continue helping you choose which exercises are best for you, Here are the pros and cons of each below, For each exercise, aerobic rating is included, a convenience rating, a risk of injury rating, an overall rating and comments regarding who this exercise is most appropriate for and who is not appropriate for. All of the numbered ratings are from one to ten, ten being the best rating.

Stationary Cycling

  • Convenience Rating: - 8

  • Risk of injury rating: - Low

  • Overall rating: - 6
    This exercise is appropriate for: - Individuals of all fitness levels. Those who for any reason have difficulty with weight-bearing exercises.

  • This exercise is not appropriate for: Individuals prone to orthopedic complications, such as tendonitis that especially affects the knee, ankle or hip. Also, those with certain types or back and/or neck conditions.

With stationary cycling, you typically don't work hard as you would in Spinning class. This is because you don't have an instructor pushing you and taking you through movementsd that require to move up and down from your seat. However, this can be a rather convenient indoor exercise and a good way to get in your weekly minutes of aerobic exercise.
Just be sure you maintain the proper intensity with this exercise.

Indoor Rowing

  • Overall rating: - 7

  • This exercise is appropriate for: - Individuals prone to orthopedic complications, such as tendonitis that especially affects the knee, ankle or hip. Also, those with certain types or back and/or neck conditions.

  • This exercise is not appropriate for: Individuals with certain back or neck conditions. Also, those prone to orthopedic complications that affect the hip, knees, ankles, shoulders, and/ or elbows.

Indoor rowing is a fairly aerobic exercise that's quite easy to learn.It requires the use of a rowing machine. This is good because it trains both arms and legs.
Just be sure not to hyperextend your back while rowing. This exercise is meant to be performed using 80 percent contribution from your legs and only 20 percent from your arms.

Indoor Cross-Country Skiing

  • Convenience Rating: - 7

  • Risk of injury rating: - Low

  • Overall rating: - 6.5
    This exercise is appropriate for: - Individuals who are proficient at hte cross-country skiing technique. Individuals of higher fitness levels.

  • This exercise is not appropriate for: Beginning exerciers. Anyone who is not proficient in the technique of cross-country skiing.

Indoor cross-country skiing is an aerobic activity that trains both arms and legs. It requires the use of an indoor ski trainer. This is a good overall exercise once you learn the specialized technique.

I never knew stationary biking was different than spin class lol. The indoor cross country skiing sounds interesting. Do they have that at most gyms?

I think A is much more of a my thing on aerobic exercise especially for the fact i am an athlete but i see both favourable for me due to pace and stamina. Both a compactable for me but for others it mght vary. Thanks for this hint

I guess it depends what your body needs. You get to go for exercise options that best suited according to your lifestyle. Both lists can pump down calories.

I can see a huge difference between both lists. B really střetches the muscles a lot better than A.
