RE: How We Got Here – My Health History: Project Health, the Warning Signs, and the Regrets

My late best friend and roommate was diagnosed late with stage 4 Uterine Cancer, the fall of 2021 was when the whole world was in a dark deep self isolation from Covid. The lead times to getting Medical appointments and diagnostic openings were weeks and sometimes months under our socialized health care system, wait times were made much worse under Covid protocols. I did my very best to stay by her side and get my friend to her earliest possible openings regardless of time and date but that wasn't enough and after the fact. A more disciplined proactive approach may have helped better the odds. 💜 Thank you @iwannabeme and @thekittygirl

I am so incredibly sorry for your loss. I think the wait times in the US for appointments unrelated to lung/heart/etc were a little less than in countries with socialized medicine during COVID but they were pretty rough here as well. I know your friend was grateful to have your support. I'm leaning so heavily on my friends right now. Prayers for peace and comfort to you.
