in steemit part of the rule is you do not act as if you really want something, or act desperate...
work hard...read and comment on posts of others...make your self known-
engage with new members and old members by reading and commenting intelligently on their post and you see upvotes and followers
that is what i do and as long as you have access to internet...steemit will work for you

rememer..keep reading as many post as possible and commenting intelligently.... you be surpriced how many upvotes you will be gething...and also go to introducemyself and other minnow pages...welcome them...read eir intro and encaurage them with some advices...you get followers...but do not ask for it openly...power up your good posts with whaleshare...
