Yes, that can happen with poor quality silver products. It's actually due to an accumulation of silver salts that react with sunlight, causing permanent cosmetic disfigurement, and it's extremely rare. We find that some of the highest quality and most effective colloidal silver has particles size 10 nm or smaller -- this allows the silver to penetrate tissues but is also easily flushed out without accumulation.
