Good post, I am all for eating more vegetables however, even with an all vegan diet there are still high rates of heart disease, mainly because vegan diets still consist of sugar and carbs. Unsaturated fat and dietary cholesterol will only increase your risk of heart disease if youโre combining that diet with a high sugar intake. That is a common misconception that unsaturated fat dietary cholesterol cause heart disease, a concept constantly pushed by the American heart Association which continue to see heart disease rates rise.

Thanks! As with every diet, it is important to avoid processed foods high in sugars and carbs such as refined sugar, pasta, bread, cookies, etc. The American Heart Association isn't the best source to get your info... I totally agree with that!
