Innoculated anti-vaxxer, wait what?

I have only passed out three... make that five times in my life
and none of these adventures were due to an inoculation. mod3biotechnology_wikispaces.jpg

What on earth would I bring that up? It was asked of me while I got my flu shot at work, was I likely to faint? Some people may think this means I need to turn in my tinfoil hat and conspiracy card. I actually got it done because I will be hopping on a plane with one stop over and spending a few days in North Carolina, in November, for the Flat Earth Convention.

… yup. There is, I swear and it’s pretty big too.

I am not a fan of vaccines… I chalk it up to too many years in too many doctor offices with too many opinions on what I should do to keep myself well early on.
I weighed the pros and cons; I knew what was in the vaccine I was given because I have been discussing it for over a month with my pharmacist.
So I did it, I don’t know if they get more effective if you get them regularly and I am not saying I will be doing so, but at least this year my PCP and Immunologist will be happy. Screen Shot 2017-10-20 at 2.11.21 AM.png

Its important we maintain the choice of how we care for ourselves, how we choose to do so and really what business is it of anyone else? If they are caring for themselves to the best of their ability what does it matter if I follow the same regimen… or not?
I wouldn't say I am anti... but I don't think we need everything they want to stick us with and I recognize the right to choose. Should I feel like I've betrayed the alternative community? I don't know, I guess I kinda feel like I have, but ultimately I have to make the best choice for me.

Where do you stand on the vaccine debate?

Is it as much a hot button topic in the Steemitizen’s mind as it appears on the face of day-to-day life?

I cannot wait to get to North Carolina for the Convention and, you best bet, I will be bringing my media gear… Things maybe a little sparse… a little dark and slow on the uptake for me here but I promise if you stay tuned much more is on its way!
