GRAPES part 3

I really like anything made from grapes. Such as jam, dried grapes, grape juice, cakes, anything. It turns out that wine is great for the health of our body. Lots of benefits that grapes are given to us.


Today, @HealthWizard will discuss about the efficacy of grapes for the health of the body.

The benefits of grapes for the body :

  • Preventing Constipation

The grapes are very rich in fiber which is excellent for bowel movements and improves digestive health by increasing the production of digestive enzymes. Grapes fruit and grape juice are highly recommended for those suffering from constipation.

  • Improve memory

Some chemical compounds in grapes can improve memory and cognition, regular consumption of grapes can prevent age-related memory decline.

  • Helps to lose weight

Grapes are a good choice for those of you who want to lose weight. 100 grams of grapes contain only 67 calories, but many grapes contain water and food fiber that will make you feel full longer and prevent hunger for long.

  • Good for eye health

The eye is an organ that is very important to us. Grapes rich in antioxidants such as Lutein and Zeaxanthin are good for reducing the risk of age-related macular degeneration.



The grape is a very delicious and luxurious fruit, therefore wine is often used for the dishes of kings and gods.

You have given a nice overview of beneficial qualities os grapes and I'd like to add a fly in the ointment:) Grapes shouldn't be given to children because the last can swallow them that can lead to unfavourable consequences. Also some recommend to peel the fruit 'cause their peel can accumulate pesticides (or at least to wash them thoroughly). Yet they don't recommend to abuse grape when you have diabetes mellitus, acute gastric ulcer and any other acute conditions. However, the berries really have lots of benefits for our health. But without any addictions! ;)
