Little Things we ignore unknowingly
.
TODAY ON LIFE CHALLENGES
.
I AM TOUCHED
.
Most times when we walk into big malls, boutiques and supermarkets we never question their prices. We pay exactly what we see on the price tags and even hand out tips to the staff, but the moment we are out of these shops and want to buy groundnuts, banana or roasted corn our bargaining power rises to the roof.
.
A poor woman with hungry children at home tells you banana is N200. She even takes her time to explain how difficult it was for her to buy it from the market. But we insist that if it's not N80 we are not buying.
.
Some of us even wave them away, wind up the windscreens of our luxury cars and make to drive away.
.
But because 'half bread is better than none', the woman is forced to run after you begging and she sells at no gain at all. When we bargain for those petty things and they sell, we should realize that they sell at loss sometimes just because their family must feed as that is the only option available to get food for their family to eat that day.
.
In her heart she cries, she's worried about how she will survive with her children.
.
She silently reassures herself that 'It's well since she is not returning home with the banana or roasted corn. Her motivation is "God will definitely provide for the next day". The next day, this cycle continues.
.
Meanwhile you drive off and happily chop the luscious banana, oranges or roasted corn.
.
Take some seconds to think about this.
.
I am always moved to tears when I see these people who genuinely and helplessly hawk petty goods to feed and survive for that day, especially women and children.
.
Please don't bargain too hard with small vendors. They do business not to buy designer bags, trendy phones, watches, shoes or designer clothes, but to FEED the family and CARE for their children in school.
.
This touched me when I realised it, so lets CHANGE our ways. Its another way of spending on humanity in the will of God.
.
"He who gives to the poor lends to his Maker"
.
Even if you have read this before, please endeavour to share.

One of the reasons that I'm into cryptocurrency is because I feel like it's a great opportunity to be able to spread wealth. Check out my vlog on my where I talk about my plans first starting my charity coin.

That's a great and a loudable idea, will do anything to help

This post is a heart-touching storey. We the buyers have to change these bad behaviours of ours. I'm pleased with your hard work. @godswaycovenant.
