Stupidity above all

Hello world i am a pharmacist working in a very big pharmacy in Athens, i will try to share a bit of the crazy stuff i listen to each day.

So yesterday there was this girl, young at age i would say late twenties that had this huge infection on her foot, trying to figure out how that thing was created i learned that it was a minor wound after some fall that was treated wrong!! And but wrong i mean maybe the worst way to treat a wound, so this girl was collecting rain water and she was "disinfecting" the wound with it.. just to be clear we are talking about Athens rain water, where you can breath the polution of the air, the city has no hygiene standars. Well i told her that it would be better if the wound wansn't treated at all. Just to get an answer like "you wouldn't survive a day in the wild, stupid capitalistic pharmacist" or so.

P.S. to all of you reading this i recomend using an actual disinfectant or sterile natural solution for cleaning minor wounds.
