Most children should remain in a rear facing car seat until they are close to 3 years.
We used to think that once a child has achieved neck control, then its safe to face forward, but research have shown that children younger than the age of 2 were 75% less likely to be injured in a rear facing car seat.
Rear facing your child protects, your child's head, neck and spine.
Minimum age for a child to rear face is 2 years, however, the older a child gets the more their spines develop, so longer is better.
Lets protect our children from danger. Drive carefully!
So is your child forward facing already before the age of 3? I think its time to rear face that child.
