We push our digestive system through a lot during the day. Stress, sugar, gluten, and more stress. And poor bad habits will affect your physical and mental health completely.
This is why I love gut healing smoothies, and I love to start my mornings with one of my favourite recipes.
ChocoBerry Gut Healing Smoothie
Combine in a blender the following ingredients:
-A handful of blueberries
-Two handfuls of spinach (or you can add a teaspoon of wheat grass instead)
-A dash of cinammon
-1 table spoon of organic almond butter
-1 tablespoon of organic cacao powder
-Half coconut milk (without sugar), half coconut water (both organic)*
-A scoop of your favourite protein powder is also a good idea!!
*You can add more if smoothie is too thick
