Eat Right.
Eating the right food will have a huge impact on your mood and make you more motivated to achieve more every day. You may be thinking "okay so what does it mean to 'eat right'??" Well, the number one most important thing I can tell you is DO NOT eat unnecessary amounts of sugar.
I strongly believe sugar is the underlying cause of many diseases which can be avoided. Now, of course you can't completely avoid it. It may be in sauces or certain foods, and this is okay. However, when you eat a huge piece of chocolate cake for dessert you are doing WAY more harm than just eating a few extra calories. Another example is drinking soda, one of the absolute worst health decisions one can make. Instead substitute the soda for water, this is doing way more good than you think as well!! (I will make another story about the benefits of drinking water later on).
Doesn't that look delicious?! I have personally only been drinking water and milk with my meals for over 5 years now, and I can say it is one of the best decisions I have ever made. Now, on to the foods. believe it or not it is very simple to eat "healthy". ( I said simple, not easy! ;) ). Really all you need to do is find out your maintenance calories, this is the number of calories you need each day to maintain your current weight. Then, subtract about 300-500 from that number and BOOM watch the weight shed. Now there are other factors that go into this such as macro-nutrient requirements (protein,carbs, and fat) and I will elaborate on this in another article!!
