What You Need To Know About The Future Of Healthcare
Hi folks. This is a (not so) short email I sent to Bowhead Health, a company working to make a huge difference in diagnosis and health treatment that is patient-specific, and actually works. If they pull this off, it’s a game-changer like you wouldn’t imagine. But they have imagined it, and they’re working on making it a reality right now. They’ve just had an article published on forbes.com, and I emailed to congratulate them and offer myself up as a guinea pig to test their incredible diagnosing, medicine-creating-on-the-fly" device.
Remember Marty McFly’s self-fitting jacket in Back to the Future? Well this device is like that for your health. It customs builds vitamins/medicine for you, within the device, after you feed it a small saliva or blood sample, on-the-fly. I kid you not. Forget trips to outer-space; we humans have the coolest stuff right here at home.
You can see what they’re up to here: https://www.bowheadhealth.com/

Hello Bowhead Team. Congratulations on the Forbes article. That is wonderful exposure for a great project! https://www.forbes.com/sites/annabelacton/2017/07/14/the-future-of-health-its-in-your-hands/2/#cdde7a168193
I'm interested in being a test subject with your device if that's possible, and I'd be happy to pay for the device and postage. I have a layman's background in nutrition and have conducted a lot of research about natural cures for many illnesses and understand very well that our diets are substandard (especially in developed countries), and our health is dependent primarily on the food we eat and the quality and mineral content of the water we drink. And our environment...
In that respect, I focused for a full year on researching cures for Glioblastoma multiforme, as my Father-in-law developed masses in his brain, that I suspect was caused by extensive mobile phone use when he was a real estate agent. I discovered the benefits of turmeric, amygdalin, bromelain, papain, quercetin, pawpaw extract, phytochemicals, antioxidants, water quality, detoxification, you name it, I researched it (especially if it crossed the blood-brain barrier).
His hair started to grow back once he'd visited the Naturopath, and he passed away 6 months later than the doctors had expected; given that he took the so-called "alternate" route, which was not supported by ANYONE in the mainstream medical industry. As a result of his experience, I came to learn for a FACT, that everything is curable, if you get to it early enough, and don't follow outdated or ill-conceived advice which is based on flawed or misconstrued science, or ethically bent motives. Nutrition is first, everything else is a distant second.
I also stopped taking all prescribed medications several months after I had a heart attack which required two stents to be inserted, because I found that the study results were ethically flawed, and therefore weren't to be trusted. One was the Plato study, noted following.
Problems Found in PLATO Trial Results | Medpage Today
"They noted that four of the 10 FDA reviewers (two medical officers, a statistician, and the medical team leader who acted as the primary efficacy reviewer) recommended against approving ticagrelor." Aug 6, 2013 Source: https://www.medpagetoday.com/cardiology/acutecoronarysyndrome/40841
And: Debate Continues on Ticagrelor in PLATO - Medscape
"paradoxical excess mortality in PLATO"... Mar 14, 2011

Yet we mere mortals are expected to blindly trust in the "professionals", when they are prescribing drugs/toxins whose efficacy has been contended since their inception, while proving to actually INCREASE all-cause mortality?? Ridiculous. The medical profession needs to quickly come to the understanding that anyone with an Internet connection, can now get a second, third and fourth opinion from more health professionals than any single doctor has ever met, let alone studied under.
They put me on 6 medications after my heart attack, when in reality, a better diet, some nattokinase and CoQ10 would have seen me back in perfect health in short order, fully cured of C.A.D. As the "patient" I've been taught all my life that "Doctors know best". It's a sad reality at age 42 to learn that you've been lied to and mislead your entire life; but luckily, and old dog can learn new tricks, and new habits. I now have a full shelf of herbal and natural supplements and tinctures that I researched thoroughly before introducing them to our family as a means to augment our diets and quickly defeat any illness or issue we encounter. Now, when someone has a UTI, we think Cranberry. When someone has a migraine, we think Celtic salt in water. When we get hay-fever, we think Bidens pilosa. For period pain, magnesium. For lung conditions, we reach for the Liquorice tea.
This is why I strongly support your project and would love to be a part of it. I know how your use of blockchain and device intelligence, married with the correct ingredients, can drastically improve the health of anyone who uses your device. As a family we are very much on the side of natural health solutions, without the propaganda and misinformation that leads to further illness; like the bashing of cholesterol for the past 60 years, based on a flawed test with rabbits (who don't eat dairy).
Or the misuse of unproven statins, with doctors not even recommending statin users take C0Q10 to assuage the damage done by statins. This is simply obscene. If your device will eliminate some or all of the damage being done to our species by flawed science, and instead focus on what our organism actually needs to thrive, then it will be a revolution in healthcare unlike anything we've seen in the last century. And I'm probably understating the import of your product. Not since herbs were used as primary health care, have we been so close to being healthy again. It’s only just out of reach, and I believe your solution will get us back to where we should be.
I am a qualified Chef by trade, web developer of 7 years and I.T. Administrator for 3 years. I am now a stay-at-home Dad, building a small farm on 1 acre, with a focus on vegetables and medicinal herbs (which of course includes dozens of varieties of "weeds", planted by nature as gifts for our education and enjoyment). Forgive my rambling, but I'm passionately in support of your work, and I would just love to participate in testing your device if that is at all possible. If not, I will buy it from the local chemist next year, when it becomes available in Australia.
Congratulations again on the article in Forbes. Get used to big exposure; you're going to get a LOT of it :)
