Yeah I remember feeling the same way about it when I started out. I had been doing more bodybuilding/powerlifting style training for many years and pretty much thought it looked stupid. But I’m glad I tried it because it ended up being the kind of training that was right for me at least.
We are kind of in our competition season now, so the workouts deviate slightly from our normal routine. Another 3 weeks or so and we will be back to doing more heavy lifting for the majority of the time spent in the gym, usually finishing off with some form of conditioning piece at the end.
