Daily challenge completed - 120 reps
Repeat of Crossfit open 18.2 for 110 reps, and 10 good clean singles at a working weight.
Improved my score by almost a minute and +3 kg on the clean. Not too bad all things considered. I feel a lot less banged up this time also.
It's interesting to see your workout style. As the only Crossfit-style person so far, your workouts help me see a little bit into the lifestyle.
Yeah I remember feeling the same way about it when I started out. I had been doing more bodybuilding/powerlifting style training for many years and pretty much thought it looked stupid. But I’m glad I tried it because it ended up being the kind of training that was right for me at least.
We are kind of in our competition season now, so the workouts deviate slightly from our normal routine. Another 3 weeks or so and we will be back to doing more heavy lifting for the majority of the time spent in the gym, usually finishing off with some form of conditioning piece at the end.
