"Eating between 200 and 300 grams of natural yogurt prepared at home every day contributes to the prevention of cancer," said assistant professor at the University of Health Sciences of Turkey, Alep Arslan Tan Oglu.
Regular intake of this type of yogurt may prevent many cancers, such as colon, breast, stomach, ovarian and endometrial cancers, Tan Oglu said.
He pointed out that yogurt has been used in medicine since ancient times and began to be known in Europe in the 19th century, adding that it was sold in the West medicine in pharmacies early twentieth century.
Natural yoghurt is "rich in lactic acid bacteria that increase the secretion of stimulants in the body," Tan Oglu said.
He explained that the yogurt recorded at home is more useful compared to the yogurt made in the labs because it does not contain additives or preservatives.
