Are you already being bombarded with all those weight loss gimmicks and gym memberships to get you on track this year? Do you make new year resolutions and end up falling off the bandwagon by the end of February like 80% of individuals? Every year I cringe when all the promo's and gimmicks start and I have even used it as a tool to get clients in my office for Nutritional Counseling. This year no more, yes I have winter program starting on January 18th and a detox program but those are my winter programs and they have to start in the winter preferably not during the holiday season for obvious reasons.
O.k getting to my point now! Why do we have to wait for a date to start making changes? Obviously, this does not add to our success, our success is our drive and our desire to make and work at important changes and looking too long-term lifestyle changes not fast quick temporary extreme changes that do more harm then good. Every day, every moment every time you go to eat is a choice to make those changes! Choose health at each opportunity, and slip in some living moments here and there appropriately as well. Don't wait until the beginning of the week, a new year the next day, just do it!
And on this note don't forget you set the foundation for 2018.
