Dear Diary: My Skin Got Itchy With The Change In Season

in #health6 years ago

After a few months of having not to perspire very much because of the mild weather which really didn't allowed me to perspire profusely which also in a way I liked because it makes me have a good allowance of water to drink.

Now that it is hot and humid again my skin is just adjusting probably and is itchy. Now I do not have any allergy of some sort, only a rare occasion of hayfever and a reaction to blood transfusion but it was years ago. It might be now that it is hot that my body or my skin in particular just are waking up and getting to do its job of perspiring.

It is hard to have an itchy skin, I had this since before I went into dialysis and I thought that my liver was failing because my tummy is bloated and it was too damn itchy. Little that I knew that it was a phosphorus overload which I didn't know about until I learned it when I was in dialysis months after.

Then I restricted my diet which didn't help much because my doctor didn't prescribe me phosphorus binders nor had looked into my parathyroid condition. So the end result my parathyroid went loco and made my bone particularly my head bone and my backbone disfigured and I got so weakened until now with disability as a result.

That is how phosphorus can destroy someone's life particularly a dialysis patient's life aside form having a very itchy skin. But this itchiness I hope will get resolved soon as maybe after I took a bath. I am certain that the cause was not phosphorus as I am taking care of it already.
