Keeping a low body temperature will cause your body to work harder to keep you warm. This burns calories.
Some other suggestions:
- Keep the heat lower in your house. Save money and burn more calories.
- Drink ice water. More refreshing and it will take down your internal body temperature.
- Use ice packs when necessary. I like to ice my low back and shoulders to keep inflammation down. Will have the added effect of keeping you at a lower body temperature.
- Take cold showers. Cold shows have many benefits and this is one of them. It takes awhile to get used to.. believe me.
Definitely, thank you. I have looked into this as well and started taking cold showers on top of this. I may also start taking ice baths because it has a similar effect.
