The Benefits of Drinking Vegetable and Fruite Juices: 3 Recipes Included

      Drinking natural juices from row fruits and vegetable can be a valuable addition to an already healthy diet.

      I have introduced these juices last year when I decided to buy a slow juicer from HUROM,this being one of the top brands that produces slow juicer machines,and even though it is a little priceier than other brands,in my opinion it is worth the money.Hurom juicer extracts a lot more juice that`s of a superior quality by masticating and pressing the solids,ensuring that the cellular structure of vegetable and fruits is left intact.

     When making these juices,of course,you remove all of the fiber but it`s still pact with nutrients as you`ll see below.

Let`s start with the first juice.


                                Spinach,celery,apples and ginger juice

  • Spinach is a leafy green vegetable which contains amino acids,pottasium,iodine,magnesium,iron,Vitamin A,C,E and B complex and it also contains protein.It is beneficial for pregnant women ,prevents formation of cancerous cells and it`s rich in antioxidants.
  • Celery it`s rich in calcium,vitamin A and vitamin B6 and can prevent dementia and osteoporosis,relieves fatigue and improves appetite.
  • Ginger has long been used for medical purpose and it can help with digestion,can relief cold and flu and it can contribute to your cardiovascular health.


                                  And I may add,these juice tastes delicious!


                           Spinach,beet,carrot,lemon,oranges and spirulina juice

  • Beetroot provides you with potassium,calcium,iron,zinc,copper and selenium and  can help lower your blood presure,may slow the progression of dementia,helps you maintain a healthy weight and one of my favorite,because I workout 6 days a week,drinking beetroot juice can improve your stamina(according to a small study)
  • Carrots nutrients are vitamin A,beta-carotene and potassium and promotes skin health and also can prevent gastric and esophageal cancer.
  • Spirulina is a superfood and an antioxidant powerhouse,full of protein,in fact,protein makes up about 60 to 70 percent of Spirulin`s dry weight.Also includes significant amounts of niacin,potassium,calcium,zinc,Vitamin B complex,Vitamin E,selenium and more.


Note:As you can see I use spirulina tablets but you can also use spirulina powder which you can put directly in your juice but I simply don`t like the smell and taste of spirulina powder so I prefer to compromise with these pills.


                                Celery,beet,carrot,apples,orange and lemon

  • Orange has vitamin C,flavonoid,pectin and among it`s benefits are prevention of dementi,prevention of cancer and cardiovascular disease.
  • Apple has iron,quercetin and also pectin and improves skin health.

    

      As you can see I left the fruits for last and the reason for that is because I like to add them for a bit of flavor and I try to use as little as possible,I prefer to eat the whole fruit.

     When I make juices like these I like to concentrate on the vegetables because,in a normal day,I would not be able to eat all these vegetables with my meals and this is my way of adding more nutrients to my diet without having to eat tons of food.

I wish I had the ability to make juices. They're just so easy to buy in the stores and I hate hate hate washing dishes! Excellent post with original pics.

You are right,is more convenient to buy them but I like to make this juices 🥤 as I control everything that I put in them!The dishes are the downside🙂

Super delicious and nutritious to help my workout, which juice suggests me to remove fat from the abdomen in the pelvis especially that is more difficult to elimar that fat

I wouldn’t suggest juices for fat loss,I rather focus on strength training and cardio and eating healthy food like lean protein and healthy fats,veggies and good carbs!Of course,the best way to get in control is to calculate your macros:)

When it comes to vegetables,I find it hard to drink them in the thick consistency of blending!But it’s perfect if you do

Do you want to remove the fiber? Is there a benefit to doing so? I bought a juicer/blender to allow me to keep it. Or maybe I bought it because it was less messy.

Even though this juices lack fiber they are still packed with nutrients!For me this is a way to consume more vegetables within an already healthy diet!Blending veggies are too thick for my taste so I usually blend shacks with berries and yogurt and fibers,peanut butter,coconut or almond milk,protein powder and more!As I said in my post when juicing I use way more vegetables than fruits(this last ones are just for taste and they don’t constitute the base of my juice)I hope it helps
