Our bodies were designed to work with complete foods as opposed to extractions, as opposed to bits and pieces of foods, minerals, vitamins, and so on and so forth. If you were in chemistry class, you probably learned about how chemicals react to other chemicals. Our bodies are made up of chemistry, and chemicals, and stuff, and our bodies need everything that is in the banana, for example, and not just the potassium found in bananas. You could take a potassium pill or tablet, and in some cases, it helps more so. But generally speaking, it is better to eat the whole banana, uncooked, unfiltered, as organic as possible, because you want not just the potassium from the bananas, you want the other things too which works together with the potassium and other things in your body......... Nice to know how helpful food or fruits can be to our health
