Bananas are an Alkaline food and our bodies are perfect tuned at 6.4 pH so bananas are great for reducing acidity in the body. Also, if they increase serotonin in the brain they may reduce the frequencies of migraines. Some migraine studies have shown that a decrease of serotonin in the brain is linked to migraines.
