How I lost 13 kg with calorie counting.
I believe I am not the only one who tried to lose weight with counting calories :)
Well it's all started after Malta. If you read my introduction here
you know I lived in Malta for a while.
Enjoying those barbeque parties and drinking red wine and spirits did not help to keep me fit. Before I moved there I thought I will run every day early morning but somehow it was not a part of my everyday routine.
I worked in Hilton where I ate tons of delicious Italian chocolate at daytime, drank Mochaccino and enjoyed having afternoon tea sessions. Believe it or not within 6 month I gained 13 kg. Of course I knew it should stop but for some reason I could not. It was like a part of laid back lifestyle.
After I moved to Hungary I took some time off work and I wanted to get back the control over my body as did not like it and was not confident at all.
I checked hundreds of websites, I wanted to find the easiest and quickest way to lose the extra kilos. And what helped me a lot was calorie counting!
However it is quite time consuming but at least straightforward and easy to follow. All I had to do is keep track of my meals. I used one of the websites for that and the most I liked about this method was basically I could eat anything I wanted, including sweets and cookies until I reached my limit.
Apart from that, I went to the gym a couple of times a week. I loved it, especially when I started to have some muscle definition. I have to tell since then I have been going to the gym at least 3 times a week and of course always in the morning just before work. Another thing to mention that I have stopped counting calories, as more or less I have learned how many I can consume on a daily basis based on my activity level. It helps a lot, but can not be done for years.
I hope you liked my story!
Thanks for reading it!
