physical activity has a lot of benefits. movement stimulates the entire organism, brain included so i'm not surprised. I wonder though why it needs to be intense. Who knows, they might find out in the future that any physical activity helps. So I say, get out there and do things instead of chatting on steemit ;-) As for the young lady who developed the app, kudos! it's good to see that the next generation isn't all lost to opioids and hollywood.
