WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Researchers have succeeded in developing technology that can help give children all vaccine vaccines in a single injection, which can continue to release doses within the body for hundreds of days, US researchers have said.
The injection was developed by researchers from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the United States, and published their research findings in the latest issue of Science Science Journal, Anatolia News Agency reported.
This injection dispenses the injection of vaccines that cause severe pain to children. Vaccinations against many diseases such as tetanus, pertussis, polio, hepatitis B, measles, mumps and others are taken at frequent intervals after delivery.
The researchers explained that they developed a new type of small molecules, which can combine all the doses in one syringe, and these particles resemble small cups of coffee filled with the vaccine, and then closed with a lid.
They added that it is possible to change the design of these cups so that the contents can be fragmented and unloaded to the body in a timely manner only.
The solution, once given to children, stores the vaccine in microscopic capsules, releasing the initial dose to the body, and then enhancing doses at specific times.
A set of tests on mice showed that the contents could be dumped into the body exactly after 9, 20 and 21 days of injection.
The researchers also said they could develop other molecules that could last for hundreds of days, but no tests have been done on patients so far.
Studies in rats have shown the effectiveness of this trend, and researchers said the technology could help patients around the world.
