The Chinese and Japanese drink hot tea during meals, not cold water. Maybe it’s time to adopt their habits. 

It’s nice to drink a cold drink after a meal, but cold water will solidify the fat that you consume. When such structures react with acid, intestines will absorb faster than solid foods. It can quickly cause cancer. It is best to drink hot soup or warm water after a meal.
